Kids Again-Changi Beach Park

Updated: Apr 15, 2018

1. When did you go here?

Yeshi: The same day we went to Pulau Ubin. We decided to walk around and explore a bit around this area since it was right beside the Changi Point Ferry Terminal.

2. What did you do there?

Yeshi: We blew bubbles, walked along the beach, and swung.

Christine: The playground lured us into going there.

3. Who brought the bubble water?

Yeshi: Umh, I think it's Christine.

Chrstine: I bought it at a nearby dollar shop there.

4. Do you like this park?

Yeshi: Yea, it's quite relaxing there - sitting under the trees and looking at the blue sea. And I always thought it looked like a particular famous oil painting from a European country in my primary school's art book. Leave a comment if you happen to have the same feeling and know what piece of art work it is!

5. Why did you draw a bird?

Yeshi: By accident.

Christine: LOL

6. Who will you recommend to come to this place?

Yeshi: There are some facilities for kids to play, so it's suitable for the whole family to come as well. And some of the climbing facilities in the playground were quite challenging, even for big kids (like us...).

Christine: Anyone! lovers, loners, kids, aunties, uncles, grandpas, grandmas. I think pets are allowed too!

7. Did you play the swing with the kids?

Yeshi: Well, we waited for a while til the kids finished.

Christine: We gave them an uncomfortable stare til they finished. Kidding.

8. What impression did that day leave?

Yeshi: Going back to childhood.

9. What's to eat near this place?

Yeshi: Changi Village Hawker is nearby. And there are some bistros like Little Island Brewing Co, which sold craft beers. And also some cafes.

10. Any desserts for that afternoon?

Yeshi: We ate waffles with ice-cream in one of the cafes there. Kinda forgot what's the taste of this scoop of ice-cream in blue/green.

Christine: Waffles and ice cream! It was good but it wasn't enough to quench the intense heat that day. If only there was a tub of ice nearby to bathe in.
