1. The west? What do you mean?
Yeshi: We went to the west west side of Singapore! Tuas!
Christine: The extreme west
2. How did you guys go there?
Yeshi: By train, the East-West line (green) takes you all the way to the west, and the east. We got off at the final stop: Tuas Link.
3. What's your impression of that area?
Yeshi: It felt empty. The train was already empty when we were just one or two stops away, and you can even run around the train - though you are not suppose to do this! haha. And after we walked out the MRT station, we saw a big grass field, which is nice for photography and frisbee!

4. Did you go there just because you wanted to reach the west-end of Singapore?
Yeshi: Actually, we came because of this nice bistro: Marina Bistro. It has a very nice view and it's quite relaxing sitting there.
Christine: I've planning to go there since 4 years ago, finally had someone who'd agree to travel all the way there
5. What did you order?
Yeshi: We ordered crayfish pasta which was quite nice. I liked the sauce. A glass of Singapore Sling (I've heard Singapore Airlines provides a nice one). Also, waffles with ice cream for dessert, but that wasn't that nice.
6. What did you do after eating?
Yeshi: We walked along the sea shore and took some photos. I haven't brought out my DSLR for a walk for a long time already.
Christine: There's a yacht club there and a board walk - open to the public. People fish and hang out - it's a pretty nice place
7. What time do you recommend going there?
Yeshi: I would say at dusk. Since it's the west side, there's nothing to block the sunset.
Christine: Before sunset
8. Did you get nice sunset photos?
Yeshi: Not exactly, it was a bit cloudy that day - but it was still a nice walk.
9. Is there any sitting place along the water?
Yeshi: umh, there were a few benches I think, but usually occupied by the people fishing there. Then, we tried to sit on the edge of the boardwalk but don't copy us because we were warned by the security.
Christine: LOL
10. Will you go back again?
Yeshi: After I finish the east, the north and the south of Singapore, I will consider again haha!
Christine: If I had a date, maybe.
