1. Why did you do an exploration here?

Yeshi: I already forgot why we suddenly searched for a haunted place in SG. And we decided to do an adventure here in Mount Pleasant Rd, in the morning.

Christine: I saw Mount Pleasant Rd on a bus to ICA and my internship several times. The eerie view of the tree-lined entrance intrigued me so much that I decided to Google it. True enough, it was a haunted place.

2. What's the stories about Mount Pleasant Rd?

Yeshi: It's actually a heritage place in Singapore and there is a cemetery near the entrance of the road.

Christine: A lot of typical ghost stories where cars who pass by experience something haunting.

3. Are you scared of ghost stories?

Yeshi: Yes, and I am not brave enough to listen to ghost stories haha.

Christine: Yes. lol

4. How did you feel?

Yeshi: It was a nice place to walk with friends actually, there were many greens along the street. but only suitable for the daytime maybe.

Christine: It wasn't as bad as we expected, but then again we went in the morning and didn't venture into the actual cemetery.

5. How long did it take to finish the walk?

Yeshi: About half an hour. Since we took photos along the way, it took us longer.

6. Did you find anything special?

Yeshi: An ofo bike was abandoned here lol.

7. What's the most interesting part?

Yeshi: I brought my polaroid instead of the digital camera that day. And when we used it to take photos there, we were thinking if something will show up in the instant photos haha.

8. What else did you do after the exploration?

Yeshi: We realized we were near Novena, so we headed there for lunch.

9. What did you eat?

Yeshi: We ate buah keluak pasta at NOW Noodles+, like a fusion dish.

Christine: Unfortunately, NOW Noodles+ is now permanently closed. Their noodles were pretty good, too bad.

10. Any desserts?

Yeshi: We were too full to have desserts. But there was a Japanese pancake store and a bagel place near Novena, which looked interesting!
